Dr. Alicia Sweeney is one of our associate veterinarians.  She joined our Veterinarian team in July 2023.  Dr. Sweeney is a native of Michigan, growing up in Southfield, then later attending Saginaw Valley University and graduating with a Bachelors of Science in 2014.  She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.  After graduation, Dr. Sweeney worked at a busy walk-in small animal general practice in the Chicago Suburbs where she gained valuable experience in medicine, surgery and client communication.  Her interests include surgery and oncology.  

In her free time, Dr. Sweeney enjoys running (training for her next race!), hiking, traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with her boyfriend and three dogs, Finnick, Looty and Butch Cassidy.
